Grey Gecko Press has been envisioned as a stepping stone for new authors, a sort of sandbox for the publishing world, where new and emerging authors are given the same chance for publishing as anyone else.

We provide editing and publishing services, with an eye for new and newish talented writers. We work to get these authors some publishing credits under their belt and help them to learn about their craft while maybe making just a little bit of money as well!

Editing

We offer copyediting services for new and emerging authors, whether we represent you as your publisher or not.  You will receive proofreading, line editing, full content editing, and/or critiques via Comments and Track Changes in your Microsoft Word document.  You can accept or reject each edit and comment individually.

Publishing

Grey Gecko Press is committed to publishing quality work by talented new and uncredited authors. We’ll take a look at the author’s submitted example work, and if we like what we see, we’ll discuss further opportunities with GGP, including editing and publishing in “singles” format or as a full-length work. In addition, the new author will choose from one of our promotional plans.

Once contracts are finalized, editing commences, publication is soon thereafter, and the author begins to earn money on their work at a fair rate, one which far exceeds most current traditional publishing arrangements.

Marketing & Promotion

Marketing and promotion are vital for any author, even more so for new and emerging writers. Grey Gecko Press is here to help, with two plans to choose from to help authors get the word out about their work. From simple mentions on Grey Gecko Press’s website, to full-out social media campaigns, authors get to choose just what works for them, and how much promotion they want to receive.
